Hi all,
The second and final wiki lesson this week has you editing a page on our EKU Library Learning 2.0 wiki. You have two options: you can edit an existing page (which are all “Favorites” lists—our favorite books, blogs, restaurants, vacation spots, etc.—or if you get bold, you can create a page of your own.
One of the coolest features of a wiki is that any change can be reversed, so you can always undo your edits if you change your mind:
1. Click on the “History” link at the bottom of any wiki page.
2. Compare two versions by click the appropriate radio buttons and choosing “Compare”; this will show you all the changes you are about to wipe out (which may include changes made by others).
3. When you’re done comparing, use your browser’s back button to return to the list, then click on the edition of the page to which you wish to revert.
4. If the page you’re viewing is the one you wish to revert to, click the “Revert to this edition” button at the top of the page.
Have fun! Today’s lesson can be found at: http://ekulibrarylearning.blogspot.com/2007/08/lesson-15-get-your-hands-dirty-in-wiki.html.
I hope you will also join us for today’s brown bag session in 204 at noon.
