Favorite Vacation Spots

My favorite vacation spot was a private island in the Exuma Keys in the Bahamas! A friend of mine's mom was caretaker for about a year, and we got to stay for free.

The Bahamas sound great, but I like to go to Billings, Montana. No beaches,sorry, but you are close to a National Park. The scenery can't be beat, it just gets more spectacular around every turn and the view goes on for miles and miles. If you enjoy shopping, the symphony, opera,art,historic sites, a zoo, fishing, or white water rafting,hunting or viewing wildlife this is the place to be.

I am a sucker for historical cities and towns.  London, England is my favorite vacation city.  Also, I lived in Colonial Yorktown for a few years and loved it there.  Something about knowing the purpose or special history behind a place and its landmarks makes me feel like a part of it somehow. 

My favorite vacation spot is any place where it is warm, sunny and there is a beach.  All I need is a beach chair and a paperback book.  I could sit on a beach all day.  I like to sit right on the water's edge and move my beach chair as the tide comes in/out.

My favorite - Barcelona.  A beautiful, historic location.  And the weather is great!
